The Roadrunner is the Desert Bird I am talking about on this Wheel House Designs Sock but now their range has gone into parts of Missouri and Louisiana. They can out race a Human. They can hunt and kill snakes, lizards, small rodents and birds. They are great runners but not so good fliers. They can get onto fence posts, trees and low wires. As much as we may believe Roadrunner Comics the Coyote can out run a Roadrunner and the Roadrunner does not make any "beep beep" sounds, he makes a cooing sound.
The Wheel House Designs Roadrunner Novelty Sock starts with a Cozy Cotton Blend. The Background is Desert Brown. Black Lines make a Diamond Pattern all over the Sock. Under the Cuff on both sides of the Sock in Bold Black letters reads, "Roadrunner". In each Diamond is a Portrait Profile of the Roadrunner. Showing off its Long Neck and Short Crest and its Long and a bit Curved Bill. The first Portrait is showing the Crest mostly Black with Medium Grey, Eye is Brown under this is a patch of White and Red, The Bill is mostly Medium Grey with Black. The Neck is made up of Feathers in Brown, Grey, Black and White. The second Profile shows the Bill is opened and the Crest looks ruffled in Brown and Black.
